By accessing or using TAQL.me ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

TAQL.me is an enterprise collaboration platform that provides messaging, AI agent capabilities, document management, and administrative tools. The Service is available in hosted (cloud) and on-premise deployment options.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights

5. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to data you upload to or create within the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. For on-premise deployments, all data resides entirely on your infrastructure.

6. AI Agent Usage

AI agents provided through the Service are tools to assist your team. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all output generated by AI agents. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

7. Subscription and Billing

Paid features are billed according to the plan selected by your organization's administrator. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our hosted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. On-premise deployments are subject to your own infrastructure availability.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, your data may be permanently deleted from our systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAQL.me shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

4. AI and Machine Learning

AI agents process your messages and documents to provide intelligent responses. Long-term memory features store conversation context to improve future interactions. Organizations can configure how AI processes and retains data through the admin console.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) only when required to process AI requests, subject to their data processing agreements
• Service providers who assist in operating the platform
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), regular security audits, and SOC 2 compliance. For on-premise deployments, security is managed by your organization's infrastructure team.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination, data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted. Organizations may configure custom retention policies through the admin console.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Contact your organization's administrator or reach out to us directly to exercise these rights.

9. International Transfers

For cloud deployments, data may be processed in data centers outside your country. We ensure appropriate safeguards through Standard Contractual Clauses and data processing agreements. On-premise deployments keep all data within your chosen jurisdiction.
